Colour Code ; A/W '15

We may say goodbye to the blue skies of summer but autumn brings with it moody blues and suede and silk, dark delights of navy and a brooding palette of the softer colours of life. Blue is the divine and elegant on fashion. It heralds confidence and subtlety, ready for casual, professional or all out couture.

While turquoise in July is very mermaid inspired, the nautical theme holding strong when blue pops up in August; in the colder months blue's seem slightly more fit for the catwalk than the captain. With layering in full swing, the shades of blue  blow 50 Shades of Grey out of the water this season (that was not an intended pun, they just come unconsciously now). Denim no longer the only blue a girl can get her hands on navy appears to be holding a lead of woolen jumpers, while workday monotony can be broken up with that patterned 'it' bag. You might feel blue as you say farewell to the sun but you won't once blue moves from mood to hanger.
